ps3 online play

i have a ps3 which plays blu-ray dvd's and plays games perfectly, however over the last week or so every time we go online with it usually with cod4/5 it freezes whilst in online game mode..... twas working perfectly well before but for some reason we can not play more than one game at a time without it freezing and having to come out o the game still plays films and games perfectly, jus the online freezes...... any ideas many thanx xsux
