Taking a photo advice needed
11 Answers
Could someone explain how I can photograph one person 3 times, on each occasion wearing a different outfit, and then have all 3 "people" on the same picture. (If it helps to explain it, the finished result would look like a photo of triplets).
It's for my daughter's art project & we don't know where to start.

Just take your 3 photos, install them onto your computer, say in 'MY Photos'.
Open up the Photo suite download one photo onto the work place, then continue to download the other 2 placing them in the correct positions.
When you are happy that the group are lined up correctly etc. save the finished group as a photo in it's own right.

All the above is easier, and you get better results, if you use a tripod to make sure the camera is in exactly the same position each time. This is something you won't be able to do with a mobile phone.
Also, if you're doing this out of doors, you need to be aware that the sky will change.
I know this is a project, and projects are meant to be done mostly at home, but shouldn't the teacher be able to advise on techniques? It's a bit raw to expect a parent to have to help out.

sorry ... but I don't see any of these working
surely the idea is to have 1 photo of a group scene?
so if we say a photo is 640x480 (I know ... but go with it)
My impression is that you need 3 figures in the frame

... not 3 seperate photos stitched together?

is this it?
