how do you print screen on a mac?

Hi, I can't use my mac. I need to be able to print screen. Thanks for any help.

Hold down Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3 and release all
then use your mouse to click on your screen

If you only need a portion of it, do a screen grab: ⌘ + Shift + 4 then drag the target icon across the desired area.
Or, just run the grab application. It's in /Applications/Utilities.

Then click the capture menu item at the top of screen, and choose to capture screen, window, etc.

(Same result as the keyboard shortcuts above, just perhaps easier to remember.)
Ah.... the legendary simplicity of the Mac. That key combination and mouse action is just so intuitive.

So much easier than on a PC where you have to press the Print Screen key.
The Grab app will give you a much better quality picture than the keyboard short-cut.

You can Grab the whole screen, a window or a selection.
