Help wanted again CHKDSK will not run?
2 Answers
When I went to do Analyze . I keep getting a message up saying "-Disckeeper has detected that CHKDSK is scheduled to run on the volume. Preload ( C ;) Until CHKDSK is run dIskeeper cannot fragement. This is due to either a user request or because the operating system has found an error on the file system."
Then when I try to Defragment is says- "The defragment opersation you reuqired failed to start on the volume Preload (C;)"
I havent had any sound from my comptuor for a while now could this be the problem.? I would be grateful for any help please. many thanks

Also, try downloading Combofix - it sorted out lots of problems for me just recently. Use it carefully and be patient.

I've heard that diskkeeper causes problems with Windows' own defragmenter if it is uninstalled. Have a look at Auslogic's free defragmenter.
