My partner bought a TomTom SatNav 2 years ago and uses it every day for his work. Recently it is no longer holding charge and can only be used when plugged in whilst driving.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?
Is there any solution? Buy a new battery? Or does this mean it's dead and gone? I expected it to last more than 2 years but I guess it has had good usage!!

Batteries only have a finite life span they don't last for ever.

Replace the battery

Or just google tomtom battery loads of places you can get them from
I had the same. But it is no bother to operate it using the charging lead from the cigar lighter so I haven't bothered changing the battery.
