It might be your ISP you need to contact if it's a POP based email address or if your email is web based you might have to create a new email address if you didn't lodge an alternative email when you signed up. if you are web based and you can remeber your username, go their web site and see if there's a "forgot password" or log in info area.

If you are running on a mac then the mac is likely to have stored it unless you told it not to.
Go into applications, the utilities and double click the programme keychain access.
This is where all your passwords are stored.
Key outlook into the search box top right, if it has stored the password it will show outlook in the screen below.
Double click this and it will pop up a new window. Bottom left is a small box Show Password. Keychain will then ask for your login password. Enter this and click Allow bottom right and your password will appear

Just an extra thought. How are you running Outlook. Are you running this in a Windows partition? In which case the password recovery will be the same as a PC. There isn't an Outlook that runs on the Mac OS. The Mac Microsoft Office version is called Entourage, if you are running this then the password recovery is how I described it in the previous posting.
