samsung sgh-j600 message sound

everytime my wife sends a message it makes a loud delivery sound. Ive had loads of phones and can get ride of most tones. but this one i cant seem to find how to get rid of it. can anyone help.

I just got a Samsung G600 phone and couldn't figure out how to get rid of delivery and keypad tones,my daughter used the button on the side of my phone(it has an arrow up and down symbol) to turn them off for me. I have never owned a Samsung phone before this one and I am finding it unnecessarily complicated!

thanks. Samsung are very good phones. i have afew nokias,but my main phone is a razor which is good for pockets. i might buy my wife a lg shine. she likes novel things.

Just had a answer from Samsung.
With reference to your query regarding the sending message tone on you
J600, try going into settings >> sound settings >> indicative tones and
turn them all off. If this does not work then the option to disable the
tonehas been disabled by the network the phone was supplied for.

My G600 doesn't even have a 'Sound Settings' section,I have been through the settings menu several times and there is no option to turn off the keypad or message sent tones,if it weren't for my daughter I would still be having to put up with them :)
I do like my new phone but it is much more difficult to personalise than the Sony Ericsson ones I had before this.
