I seem to remember the makers of Kazaa sueing the makers of Kazaa Lite (believe it or not) because they had altered proprietary code (which, to be fair, they had). I have a feeling that this meant that they had to stop distributing Kazaa Lite - but I may be wrong.

http://download.freeweb-hosting.com/, but I'd install & run AdAware of SpyBot before & after. Obviously KaZaa Lite is only for the distribution of copyright free material & preview of copyright material and breaking copyright laws would be illegal.

Kazaa Lite is exactly the same as Kazaa but with ALL the Spyware removed. Hence the lawsuit.

If ya like Kazaa Lite then you will love Shareaza http://www.shareaza.com/ again no Spyware.
