Adblock popping up

For some reason (and as far as I know I have not installed Adblock) this pops up every time I open a programme asking me to subscribe, I've gone into control panel and tried to remove but it's not there, How can I get rid of this damned annying pop-up please?

no legitimate program should keep pestering you about installation.

easiest way is to do a folder/file search for its name and if you see anything which you dont know about then remove it.

i also suggest running a virus scan

What's a folder/file search? I have a Panda anti-virus isn't that working?

sadly answerbank is now ridddled with adware and such popups re common

i use internet explorer and it oftwen blocks these .
others use firefox but having tried it once i didnt like it.

purely a personal preference.


answerbank is listed as a site they dont re commend users to use.
or was last time i did a siteadvisor check on macafee
