Wap not Wifi on mobile phone?

I've just ordered a Samsung Pixon Mobile Phone from T-Mobile which doesn't have wifi. Am I still able to connect to the internet and/or is wap more basic than the other. i.e. don't see pictures etc?

You'll find that wap is slower than a wifi connection but you'll see exactly the same on a web page.

The massive difference is that if your phone connects to the internet via wifi it's free but you will be paying to connect via wap. It may be that you have some free time as part of your contract but not necessarily. Check it out because if you haven't and you spend a lot of time on the net with your phone you could be spending a great deal of money.
