Sony Ericsson K700i phone

Hi

I have a Sony Ericson K700i mobile phone and when I receive phone calls it rings barely once and then switches itself off. When I turn it back on it has very low battery.
It has, on occasion, just switched off for no reason.

Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem?
Is it terminal??
Or does it just need a new battery???

Who knows!!

Do you know anyone else with a sony phone? a lot of them have the same battery, if you do try their battery, if it solves your problem then you know to get a new battery!

I will try taking the battery out and putting it back in!!
