hotmail problem

When i try to access my inbox on the hotmail icon on my desktop it is taking me through to my outlook express inbox instead and i can't figure out how to fix the problem or why this has happened.  any ideas

Perhaps try right clicking on the desktop icon, go to "properties" and check (under shortcut) that the target file is right. If there isn't a "shortcut" tab, only "general", then respond here and I'll get back to you on that. Either way...
