I have a Motorola Pebl mobile 'phone. I would like to change the sound menu for text alert,the only menu I can find is ringtone change,can anyone help please.Ron.

go to settings, profiles, and you should have a bar at the top with little pictures.
The first one is a bell which is your alert style., using the left/right arrows in the middle of your phone, scroll across to the symbol that looks like a envelope, then scroll down to message alert and select.
Then select by ring tone, then you can pick which one you want.

Thanks bazz but nothing is easy is it?
I get settings,personalise,ring styles,connectivity,call divert,in-call setup,initial setup,phone status,headset,car settings,network,security,java settings.
No profiles,please advise.Ron
