I have Windows XP Pro.

I have Word 2007.

If I create a Word doc, and save it as a PDF file ...

... will the resolution be 300 dpi or greater ?

How can I make sure that it is ?

PDF documents are not raster images, therefore they do not consist of dots, and it follows that the term dpi or dots per inch makes no sense in the context of a PDF file.
