UK Streetview coverage

Is the current UK coverage of Streetview fixed or are they planning to add anywhere else and if so do we know when and where?

They are planning to add everywhere else, we just don't know when. Google are always a little secretive about their plans, but when you listen to the narrow minded people from the seventeenth century who object about technological progress, it's easy to see why.

now i like streetview so dont get me wrong but what practical uses does it have?

Besides being able to see what everywhere looks like which is interesting in itself it also allows me to search for more old road signs for my photo project rather than drive around them all.

A friend of mine has moved to new barnet herts. I shall be visiting them in a few weeks but by having a look on street view I can see the house so clear and even a dog looking out next doors window.
