how easy is it to send a text from this phone, just a normal txt message

I cant believe this is a serious question?
its the same as with any phone
in fact Nokia's are easier to use than many.

However if your having problems with sending a text message I;d call your phone company as there have been some problems with E71's

Apparently you can make calls from the N71 too... personally I don't believe it...
