Many Members use this section in good faith seeking help when they encounter problems. They are given free help by other Members especially by those who are very Computer Literate. However over the last few weeks new Members are coming on, not to give help but to blatantly promote iyogi. co.uk. This site whether good or bad is a pay for information site and I have E-Mailed the AB Editor to complain about it. Free help with problems is priceless and is always kindly given whenever it is requested. This is a free site and long may it continue to be so as many of us cannot afford expensive IT advice from Commercial Operators.
Thanks for all the free help in the past !

I agree.....keep the morons out!
I agree. The likes of johnpol, smith341 (or whatever it is) and others add nothing by constantly spamming this site.
I'm also pretty sure that smith134 or whatever has been asking questions on here to get answers on how to fix customers computers, which I really object to. I don't mind giving any advice I can on here for free but for somebody to then take that advice and charge for it is out of order.

Hi Chuckfickens !
There are at least 3 new members Smith123, Sienna Hughes and Edward 7897 who are continually on here promoting this iyogi site on a daily basis. To me this is undermining the valuable help that you constantly give to others free of charge. Rojash and Buenicho are valued contributors on here also and I'm sure they feel pretty pi**ed off about it as well !!!!
What a pity there is not a method of return to sender available especially if there was a massive charge for it somehow.
The most amazing thing is that one of the ******* will post an answer with the link, one of us 'innocents' will post a reply complaining about it, and then one of the other *******'ll follow up with yet another cr@p reply and another link.

But the one that really did it for me was when they simply copied and pasted one of my answers and added their blasted link at the bottom.

The main problem is that AB doesn't seem to care - there have been many complaints over a number of weeks, but nothing changes.

And here's why many of the answers don't make sense:

Registrant's address:
815, Udyog Vihar
Phase V
Gurgaon
Haryana
122016
IN
Perhaps, in future, we should all add this link to our replies:

for more information iyogi
Brilliant idea rojash.

Thank you all for your comments.
Do you know what Rojash, I didn't know where Haryana was until i Googled it ! India for goodness sake !
There's something fishy with the whole thing and these so called Members could be acting as Agents for this iyogi site.
Now I have E-Mailed AB Editor hopefully something can be done, but I have a feeling he has received E-Mails from other AB Members about this problem before, so we'll see what comes of it.
The more it is brought to the attention of other Members on here, hopefully they will ignore the drivel and pay more attention to the genuine answers that are given in good faith !
