dvb tuner for pc

hello
i've just noticed on my pc the plug in Freecom dvb tuner is running very hot when watching tv on comp,even heat sinking into the usb connection to it, is this normal?

Your receiving too much information from the source therefore it gets hot. Try not to watch too much tv from the pc. Limit your self to about couple of hours a day. You PC is computer not an original TV, so it wont give you all the benifits that a TV does. Its like puting a ferrari bodykit on a nissan cherry. It will do the job, but you might end up replace parts every month.
