The address bar has disappeared from my Explorer page. All the toolbars are checked and locked in View, and I've tried unchecking and rechecking them again without success. Any suggestions, or have I been hit by a virus?
Thanks in advance.

If you've done everything you can then you could try resetting Explorer by going to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and click the reset button. That should bring back the address bar but it will also delete and bookmarks you have saved and Internet history etc.

Thanks for the two earlier responses to my query but I'm afraid neither worked. However, a friend suggested that as the Google toolbar was still there, the IE one was probably hidden behind it. I unchecked 'Lock toolbars' and was able to drag it out from behind the Google toolbar, then ticked 'lock toolbars' again. Status quo restored.
Thanks again anyway.
