Uninstalling the drivers then reinstalling them worked luckily, just look in add/remove programs. You can change the AGP slot on the mobo, but a new one is not expensive (�50 - 60). If that doesnt do it, look on the mobo's website for updated drivers and that should sort it out. I doubt very much unplugging the monitor would kill it.
IF you have another monitor plug on the mobo, try testing that with the monitor, as that would be driven by the AGP as well. Thatll let u know if that the problem.
