Why ,after typing out a long answer to a gardening question and pressing `submit` I wait for it to be posted for about a minute, the screen goes blank and not able to send the message to whomever asked the question???? I hope this one works.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with your PC (or your internet connection). It's all down to AB's lousy server running considerably slower than a senile slug surfing through slurry.

Sometimes it's only the 'response' function which fails to work. (i.e. your reply gets through and is added to the posts on the site, but your screen fails to update). At other times the 'incoming' bit of AB's server times out before even accepting your post.

If your message is long type it into notepad/wordpad first and then paste it into AB. If it doesn't work , try again later and you haven't lost your answer.
