freeview in france

hello, i'm gonna be on holiday in northern france....the house tv only gets french channels
If i take my freeview box....can i get it to work there..?

Dunno, but unlikely I should think. My freeview set can select the country of operation, of which France is one, so I would assume they have there own digital set up.

Also, remember that signals in the UK are deliberately weaker than they will be eventually so they don't interfere with the analogue. People still have trouble here, so it is unlikely they will reach across the channel.
I do know...

No it won't
it might if you are staying in Sangatte or somewhere really near jersey or gurnsey - and have a high gain aerial on a very long pole feeding a digital amplifier.
