when compared like for like in hardware terms xbox wins hands down but it comes down to game preference as thats why have them at the end of the day !

both consoles have excellent games that are exclusive to each ie ps2 - gta:san andreas and xbox - halo 2

I'm speculating here, but if you're asking this question to help you decide which console to buy, then go for the Xbox. Most games now are released on both consoles and are alot better on the Xbox due to the superior hardware. As regards to exclusiveness I believe that San Andreas will be out on the Xbox next year (I think Sony have the Christmas rights. Correct me if i'm wrong). And Microsoft exclusive games such as Project Gotham and Halo are amazing. Juxtaposing games such as Fifa and Vice City for the two platforms reveals a huge difference in quality, with reduced loading time and better graphics on the Xbox. The Xbox pads are better as well.

wel my friends have an xbox and say it is gr8, but if u have a ps1 at da mo, den go 4 ps2, as you can play all ps1 games on it

ps2 is better it has more games, better games and it has gta and killzone

it may not have better specifications but it uses them better

it is not a replacement computer

it may well use its specs better but thats because it is older and at the end of its life.

xbox is on the way up and i predict xbox next will eclipse ps3 !
