I have used PAINT SHOP PRO 7.04 for several years but it is not much good for 3d Work. I particularly want the third dimension to be easy to manipulate e.g into waves and curves, as if the object is coming out of the paper. I hope that makes sense , it's difficult to put into words. Can anyone suggest a suitable graphics application ?

Photoshop (one version anyway), has 3D capabilities.

If you want vector-based software and not bitmap-based, then take a look at Illustrator (also by Adobe).
