Bioalcohol fuel pumps in the USA tend to use nickel-plated aluminium nozzles which apparently are more efficient at resisting fuel cross-contamination. I saw this at first hand myself a few months ago when I hired a biofuel vehicle in Oahu for the first time in my life. I think the same type of nozzles are used for biofuel in the UK.
