I-Pdd - naming tracks
7 Answers
I have recorded a mass of tracks onto my wife's I-pod from my collection. Because they are 'burned' CD's, they have just come up as Track One, Track Two and so on. Is there any way of re-naming them with their correct titles? I've right-clicked, but that option is not listed. Any advice appreciated.

If not the easiest way I know of to do this (apart from starting again) is to delete them in iTunes (leaving the files on the disk), downloading MP3Tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/) and using that to look up the CDs on the free cd database freedb, you just highlight a cd's worth of tracks and use the toolbar option to look them up. You then save the tags as they are called. Then use Ctrl+O in itunes to re-import the tracks and they should all have the names and artists on them. For all of these options you need an internet connection.
