Photos on CD

When I get my films developed at Boots I always get the photos put on CD as well, but find that they are too huge to send by e-mail. How can I easily reduce the size of each photo - bearing in mind I am a technical idiot? Thanks

You can download a little bit of software than can resize it for you.  Here are some possibilities:
