Simply use the imbedded formatter which appears above the box you type your reply in. Just click on the B for bold, the I for italic and U for underline (you can also just press Ctrl and B, Ctrl and I and Ctrl and U respectively). There are also features for changing the text colour, the

justification

of the

text,

 1. numbered
 2. lists
 • bullet-
 • pointed
 • lists

etc...

The embedded formatter doesn't appear in the browser I use : Mozilla Firefox. I preferred the good old days when we could use html.

Ah ! I use Firefox too - never thought of that.... Dur!
but people abused the html before, white?.
How so, microfish? You can obliterate text more now than you could before with the former restricted HTML.
Supplementary question - -- -is there anywhere a list of formatting comands so that the Mozilla/Firefox/Galeon brigade can break up their postings into paragraphs? I don't mind control codes, multiple key-presses, or even typing it all out in OpenOffice, saving it as rtf and pasting the whole file into the textarea. Anything would do.
How so Indiesinger? Ask about the 'longest thread' record. and marquee tags and posting pictures on AB and other such hijinks, ask Bernardo the star of the piece or several other regulars. That thread was why free html ended. What larfs.
Actually 'Marquee' et al were disactivated long before our ability to use HTML vanished. The only HTML we could use was bold, italic, underline, links and lists. We couldn't change the font colour or justifiy the text or anything like that.
