Blank CD's

I normally used 24-x blank cd's to copy mp3's or full cd's. I was bought some 52-x cd's but the dont work on my pc, which is around 3 years old.Is there anything i can do to solve this problem?

The number is just the maximum write speed of the CD, and they should all be backward compatable (ie. work with lower than their maximum speed.) If it's an under-run error (where the computer can't supply the data as fast as the CD is writing), try lowering the write speed (ie from 16x to 4x or whatever) to lower the burden on your computer.
