spam removal

I have got spam spilling out of my email box even though the filter is on its highest level with internet options. How can I prevent spam? I don't want to have to open each e-mail and block the address - it would take too long. Any ideas please?

But if you use an email client (such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail or Thunderbird), using a program called Mailwasher will help.
Additionally though, you should be using multiple email addresses. Your 'personal' email address should be one which can't be guessed at by spammers' computers. (e.g. avoid using an address such as '[email protected]'. Something like '[email protected]' is much better). Further, you should regard that address as highly confidential and only reveal it to your closest friends and family members.
For internet shopping, and for signing up to web-based services like the Answerbank, you should create 'disposable' email addresses, which you can discard if they start filling up with spam.

Googlemail (gmail) has, perhaps, the best spam filter today. It's really, really good.
I'd advise you to switch to that, and then tell all your friends about this account.
Googlemail can also get email from your other accounts (if Tiscali offers POP support, which they probably do), so you'll still get all mail from your Tiscali address routed to you.
