recycle bin for memory stick?
14 Answers
i was going to delete my photos off of my memory stick but my dad had to but in and do it himself. So he had to delete everything off of it, including my coursework which i hadn't been able to put on the computer.
is there any way of getting back.
else i have to go on a computer the day i get my results and put the little bit on that i'd done at school and do about 9/10 of it, in 1/6 of the time.

Download one of the free programs from here http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/system/fwdat arecovery_r.html (I have used Restoration and Recuva with some success). Unzip/install (if necessary) and THEN plug in your stick. Use the program to search the stick for deleted files. If it finds your work save to the computer, NOT the stick. If necessary, try another program, but the 2 I mentioned are pretty good.

We had a new computer and for some reason it wouldn't put the stuff onto the computer so it had to be on the stick.
And my dad said he would sort it but its been a month and he hasn't and now its too late.
thanks lemarchand i'm trying it now if the stupid computer will let me download it which i doubt.

as lemarchand says there are a myriad of unerase programs, just don't use the stick. You see it works the same as the hard drive, the machine thinks it is a hard drive so the same structure applies. When you delete a file it just marks the driectory were it was to show thw space can now be used. Provided you do not put anything on the stick the files will still be on there. Then work out haow to store stuff on your computer!
