i have a viewsonic tv and the remote has stopped working, i went back to where i bought it but they were no help, i purchased a 1 for all 2 in 1 remote that had viewsonic listed on the back but when i put the code in it doesn't work. any help greatly appreciated.

these 2-in-one or OneforAll remotes sometimes have a way of 'searching' for a code - a wildcard, it takes ages and ages. If the code the give for viewsonic isntworking try the wildcard code.

does it say on the booklet how to do a manual code find?

I am not familiar with Viewsonic, but...... This may sound a daft Answer, but, have you checked the Batteries of Remote Control. Check that they are put in the right way round as well !!
