Printer not printing!

My Hp 3in1 printer suddenly won't print the main text of email or anything. All it prints is the heading and side gubbins, and the rest is clear. Someone suggested that my blk cartridge may have run out, but then why would the useless bits still print? any help appreciated, thank you x

Trying doing a right mouse click on what you wish to print and click Select All.

Then click print.

Go to HP Site above and download HP Diagnostic Tool and run it to see if it can pinpoint your problem.
I use it in conjunction with my HP Deskjet F380 Printer.

Another useful Programme which I have installed is HP Smart Web Printing. You can use it just to highlight the parts of the Document which you need printing instead of having to Print out the whole Page each time.
You can download it from HP Web Page if you Google 'HP Smart Web Printing'. It is now compatible with IE8.
