Iphone 3gs unlock
9 Answers
Hello,
I have 2 choices
Choice 1 - Canx my orange contract and move over to 02 and buy the iphone 3gs costing me £929
Choice 2 - Stay on my orange contact, upgrade my phone and then seel it on ebay and then by an iphone and unlock it costing me approx £642
So far it is pretty easy to see which choice is prevailing here. My question before I make a definative decision is - if I unlock and jailbreak the iphone, will it function in the same way it would if I were to go with 02. Also has anyone used either iphoneunlockuk.com or iphoneunlocking.org.uk and if so what were your thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Here is another link for pay as you go:

If you get it unlocked you might find some of the applications won't work.

I'd avoid iPhone unlocking altogether. There can be some issues with it.
iPhone works best when it's a closed ecosystem: use it on O2 (that support, for example, visual voicemail, and give you unlimited net usage), and don't unlock it.
There are cheaper ways, but the iPhone isn't meant to be cheap, it's meant to be a good product, that does unfortunately involve parting with a significant amount of cash.

You can choose your second choice. That looks wise. Anyway if you jailbreak and unlock your phone you can get a more resale value than you expect. So you should unlock your iPhone. You can get your iPhone unlocked through Remote unlocking method. That is the most safest method to unlock any iPhone. It is also the affordable method too. You can get the remote unlocking from http://www.classicunlocking.com/ . Unlocking process here is very simple. You will get step by step guidance on unlocking process.
