Can anyone tell me if H/D tv can be received via Freeview or if there are plans to do this? I am at the moment watching excellent H/D reception with Sky.

Scroll down this page and there is a bit about Freeview and HD here (a simple search on "Freeview HD" found this).

I think Freesat from the BBC/ITV may be a better route as they can get more HD channels than Freeview.

There are certainly plans to do this. But note that there are currently no set-top boxes available for the proposed HD Freeview broadcast format. Note too, that current HD TVs with built-in Freeview won't receive the new format signals and will require a set-top box! Read more here...
