Transferring similar emails

I am in the process of transferring my emails into a separate folder, and then onto a CD.

But I sometimes get the message that a similar email already exists, and do I wish to replace it with the latest one or not.

Since these email have the same name, the content is entirely different, so therefore I wish to transfer them both.

There doesn't seem to be a tool that will change the name to a different one, so how does one save both emails side by side please?

Haven't you a 'Save As' facility that allows you to save the email under a different filename. Or, you could save an email to second temporary folder, then 'Rename' the file, and transfer it to your original email folder.

Thank you for your answer heathfield.

I have managed to do it although I had to transfer them singularly .

I made a temporary folder and when I came across one with the same name i transferred it inti the temporary folder altered its name and then put it back into the copy folder as you said.

What a job.
