I have a cordless keyboard and mouse, concequently if I want to access the bios on my PC I have to plug in a corded keyboard. Is there any other way to access and configure the bios?

Not as far as I know.

there is usually a usb and ps2 connector on them.  Just plug the ps2 into the keyboard input and you should be able to access bios using your wireless keyboard.
