When trying to use Spybot I keep getting the error message "The Parameter is incorrect".

You mean Spybot Search and destroy?

I've never had a problem with it, the obvious answer is just to uninstall it, download the latest, reinstall and do the update before you try again.

Diana, I've found this answer as it seems others also have the same problem.

By the way, AdaWare usually runs alongside SpyBot - both tried and trusted products.
