Can anyone tell me how I can create a short cut on my desk top for the entire favorites folder (rather than individual addresses) in XP? I can do it on my laptop which is on Windows 2000 professional but my office PC which is XP won't allow it.

I did post this question yesterday and got six replies but when I tried to look them up the window was blank and the question had disappeared from the list. Is it the new security arrangements? I only posted two on the same day.

Ok, on the desktop, right click and select new the Shortcut. Follow the instructions and browse to C, Documents and Settings, then [userName], then Favourites (which is a 'Star' icon). Hope this helps.

Right click "start". Click "explore". Find favourites folder in list and right click it. Then put cursor on "send to" and click on "desk top (create short cut)".
