hi, im trying to design some tribal tattoos on my pc and am not having much luck with ms paint , so does anyone know of a good piece of software (free or not) and is not too complicated that will allow me to create curves and shapes and let me drag and drop them where i like .thanks

Try the trial version of Paintshop Pro 9 see http://www.jasc.com/en/products/paintshoppro/psptrialreg.asp  BTW, I read the most unfashionable/undesirable thing for a person to have was a tribal tattoo. How fickle fashion is: it'll be back in vogue in 30 years time...

I would say that Corel Draw is your best bet.  I designed my tattoo on it.  You can draw lines then pull them about to your hearts content.  It's about 3 CD's though so it will take a long time to download.  Or you could go and buy it...........
