lexpps.exe

i have a lexmark printer. since installing the driver software, lexpps.exe rpcss (remote procedure call) and other nasty little things try to access the net on my behalf. i am a privacy advocate and wish to remain in control of WHAT my computer does and WHERE it goes. any help on this topic would be of great interest to me. t=security,1~mode=flat I suggest, you install a rule based Firewall (I use Sygate Pro 5.0). That will give you more control over what is happening and when... Cheers, PD
