sky + capacity loss

i have sky+ and have recently noticed that i seem to have lost approx 25% of my storage space.

has anyone else had this problem ? and if so how did you solve it ?

Sorry, I can' remember exactly but you can format the drive.  I think you go to services then option 4.  then press 0 then 1 then select.  This should bring up the installation / engineers menu.  Somewhere in there is an option to reset / format the drive (Can't remember the exact wording).  All recorded programmes and system links will be deleted.  It should solve your problem, if not you have a faulty drive.  Sky will replace it (If in warranty period).

cheers - i have extended warranty as i had several box replacements in a few months !
