any one know the remote code for a 32 inch sterling/technika lcd tv as im using universal remote,its the 3 digit code im after

There are dozens of universal remotes, each with its own type of code. You need to give us the brand and model of the univeral remote you have! Go to the manufacturers website, they nearly all have manuals/codes to download. try remotescentral.com files library for even more manuals.

Re: the TV, these low end supermarket sets are almost all made by the likes of Vestel. See if you can find those codes. try also codes for philips and Thomson, SEG, techwood, bluesky, first line, Akura, Alba, Bush, matsui, targa, schöntech.

Read the universal remote instructions – most have an auto-scan mode, whereby they sequentially step through the codes, attempting to change the TV via the remote. Once the TV responds, press any key on the remote to save the code. Although this does not get you the code, it will allow you to use the remote with your TV.

Unfortunately, whenever you change the batteries, you have to repeat this process, to re-program the universal remote to your TV.
