From reading hundreds (or probably thousands) of posts on here, Firefox is by far the most popular browser, with Chrome in second place.
Internet Explorer has always been trying to keep up with Firefox which, until recently, has been far, far better. The latest versions of IE have started to come close to matching IE, but sites still take much longer to load in IE than they do in Firefox. Further, there's a long history of people discovering security flaws in IE. (Far more so than with Firefox). That's partly because there are more hackers targetting IE than there are trying to attack Firefox, but it's also because Microsoft couldn't organise a p!ss up in a brewery.
