I am trying to apply for a job on line. I have successfully downloaded the application but appear to be having trouble typing in the allocated spaces. HELP

That is because you have downloaded an image, not a Word document.
You need a pdf editor.
What format is the application form in? Word? PDF?
You could download a small FREE program called "FilloutaForm" from

www.freewr.com/freeware.php?download=fillouta
form&lid=4680


and then fill in the form while it is on your computer screen and print it.

If you it is a pdf you can have it converted to word using this.
