Smilebox

I downloaded a programme call "Smilebox" onto my computer.

I now discover it adds all my computers documents, and updates it when I click on the icon on my desktop.

Is this safe, or will smilebox have all my documents, photos and music to-date on their files, even if I delete this programme from my computer?

I know this doesn't answer your question, but when I tried to download Smilebox I lost every one of my photos!! It was probably something I pressed inadertently but for what it's worth, I wouldn't use them again. Shirl

Thank you for answering, sorry about your photos.

I know do know if I should remove Smilebox from my computer in case I also loose all my files.

Anymore help out there please?
