Hi there

I've recently had to upgrade from Office 2003 to Office 2007, but the package I have been moved to does NOT have MS Access

I've got some Access databases I'd like to "access", but as a one-off (just to get the data out) - does anyone know of a freeware program to get into an Access database

Thanks

The Base component of Open Office will do it.

Or as you have upgraded presumably you have the office2003 disks, in which case you can just install the access part of office 2003 and not the rest so word etc will stay as the 2007 version.

That would have been great - unfortunately the reason for my sudden upgrade was the discover that my laptop dod NOT have a pukka version of Office 2003, and I couldn't even upgrade from that to 2007 - I had to uninstall and reinstall

Of course, you cannot selectively uninstall Office components

Still, at least I know I am legal now!
