I've just recently added some songs to my iTunes from mp3 files that a friend sent me via email but some some the data is incorrect like track names or albums but somehow it won't let me re-name them for some reason!! Any ideas? If you import a CD, you can change track name's , albums etc but I can't seem to do them on these!

Any ideas greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!!!!

Maybe the files are locked?

Not sure how you do it on a PC as I'm on a Mac, but I press 'apple' 'i' which brings up an info panel for the file: I can 'unlock' from there...
''can 'unlock' from there''

^ By unchecking a 'tick' box which enables me to rename the file...
have you tried using Mediamonkey? http://www.mediamonkey.com/
