i've finally got an ipod but the booklet that comes with it is useless!
i've plugged it in and 'sinced' and it's put all our music from the pc onto it. Unfortunately, it's included stuff i didn't want. I thought i could delete it on the ipod, but i can't.
What's the easiest way to do that?
Also, i have bought a second hand ipod nano off a friend, for my son. There's loads of stuff on it that I like, but my son won't!
Is it possible to keep some of them and transfer them to my ipod? Should I sinc when asked?
(I haven't plugged it in yet!)
Plug the ipod back into the pc, when itunes loads, click on your ipod (left hand list). Click on header for music and it will ask you what playlist, albums etc that you want, check those and apply. Hope that makes sense, I'm doing it from memory as I can't be bothered to go down stairs to get my ipod.
Sorry, didn't read all the question. I think there is a way to transfer music to itunes from ipod, google and see what you come up with, there is an apple/itunes help site.
crisgal, its really important to remember that the ipod is just a reflection of whats on the pc....You alter whats on the pc then connect the two and it will be reflected in the ipod.
Key functions:
1.It can backup your iPod files to computer and tranfer music/video/photos from local files to iPod without iTunes.
2.It can transfer your iPod files to iTunes and another iPod.
3.It can manage your iPod as a hard disc.
