Im renovating an old house for my brother as he doesnt have much cash i have said i will pay for it all which will end up in the region of about �30,000 he will then pay me back when he has sold it 12 months down the line is there any software or office template spreadsheets that anyone has or knows of so that i can keep a track of all expenses of materials cheers

Microsoft Excel would probably be your best bet

Or Microsoft Project if you also want to track individual tasks/grouped tasks, time taken, deadlines and cost of everything in great detail.
